Hello, I am Bibek Adhikari. As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, I am passionate about exploring the fascinating fields of Dynamics, Controls, and Autonomy. I am excited about the possibilities of applying my skills and knowledge to make breakthroughs in these fields.
My expertise in ROS, Gazebo, MATLAB, Simulink, Rover Hardware, Python, SolidWorks, etc. has enabled me to excel in various research and projects, such as Lunar exploration using multi-rover system, Autonomous vehicles, MARS rover: proof of life and Optimal Guidance, Control and Estimation of systems. Whether designing autonomous systems or conducting research in advanced control strategies, I am committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation and contributing to the future of engineering.
Currently, I work as a Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute working on the design and testing of Octocopters. Previously, I worked as a Research Assistant at the Aerospace Systems Laboratory, UTA working on the Guidance, Navigation and Control of Autonomous Ground Rovers. As Graduate Teaching Assistant and lab instructor at the University of Texas at Arlington, my experience in mentorship and instructing a lab full of 120 students, has honed my communication and leadership skills. In addition to my professional interests, I have a range of hobbies and personal pursuits that keep me balanced and fulfilled. Traveling is another passion of mine, and I take every opportunity to explore new destinations. Funnily enough, I believe that my sixth sense is my sense of humor, through which I maintain a positive outlook and find joy in every situation.
As a dedicated engineer, I am always seeking new opportunities to learn and grow as an engineer, and I look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals in the industry.
